Seyna, the most efficient insurer for brokers, announces the launch of a new vertical dedicated to professional risks, built around Professional Liability (RC Pro) and Commercial Multi-risk insurance (MRP). To drive this development, Seyna is strengthening its team and expertise, with the ambition of building — alongside brokers — offers that are simple to distribute and technically rigorous. This launch is accompanied by the arrival of Guillaume Rosolek, who takes over as Director of the Professional Market.

A considerable market, complex to cover for brokers

Professional risks form one of the largest general insurance markets in France. In the tradespeople, retailers and service-providers segment alone, Commercial Multi-riskinsurance (RC Pro included) represents a market that Seyna estimates at around €2.3billion in premiums, based on data from L'Argus de l'assurance¹. On top of this, Professional Liability cover is mandatory for many professions, concerning several million businesses.

Yet it remains a market that is complex to cover for brokers. To protect a single client, a broker may have to combine several covers, contracts or insurers. This fragmentation weighs on distribution, complicates management and leaves little room for customisation.

What Seyna wants to do differently

Seyna's ambition is to bring its value proposition to the professional market and to change the way a broker works with its insurer: a clear, transparent risk appetite; fast, understandable decisions; better use of data; and smooth integration into brokers' workflows.

The idea is not to deliver an off-the-shelf product, but to build these offers together with brokers: the first segments and the first covers will be defined and calibrated alongside them, around a clear core cover to which covers, limits and excesses can be added, profession by profession.

"On these risks, credibility comes first from technical expertise and disciplined portfolio monitoring: that is our starting point. But what brokers also expect is a simpler insurer to work with — a clear, transparent risk appetite, fast and understandable decisions, better use of data, and smooth integration into their workflows. We are not arriving with a ready-made offer: we will define and calibrate the first covers with brokers, segment by segment." — Guillaume Rosolek, Director of the Professional Market, Seyna

A key hire to launch this business

Professional Liability and Commercial Multi-risk are demanding risks: they require precise underwriting, disciplined pricing and rigorous monitoring over time. Seyna approaches them with that level of rigour. To drive this ambition, the company is strengthening its team and building dedicated expertise with the arrival of Guillaume Rosolek, who takes over as Director of the Professional Market.

Guillaume has deep experience in general insurance, with a strong command of its distribution, underwriting and profitability challenges. At Crédit Agricole Assurances / Pacifica, he held roles in actuarial functions and then in steering the professional market. He later joined Addactis as a partner, where he launched new businesses combining insurance, data and new distribution models. This dual culture — technical and entrepreneurial — now leads him to take charge of Seyna's Professional Risks vertical and to build its new team.

"Professional risks call for real expertise: underwriting, pricing, monitoring andmanagement. That is why we are building a dedicated team, with Guillaume Rosolek, to strengthen our expertise and approach this market with the rigour and solidity it demands. Our ambition is clear: to become, alongside brokers, the reference on professional risks, combining Seyna's strength as an insurer with the efficiency of our in-house technology." — Stephen Leguillon, CEO of Seyna

A new step in a strategy of controlled growth

This launch is part of Seyna's ongoing strategy, which aims to consolidate its verticals and invest in technology to combine growth and profitability. It comes after a record 2025: €142million in gross written premiums (+57%), 97 active portfolios across 7 lines of business, and a solvency ratio of 247%. Figures that confirm the scalability of Seyna's insurer model.

It is in this spirit that Seyna approaches professional risks: controlled growth, underpinned by the financial strength of an insurer licensed by the ACPR since 2019 and by rigorous monitoring of each portfolio — enough to establish this vertical for the long term, alongside its network of more than 100 partner brokers.
