How do you industrialise an insurance company to make bespoke products possible at scale?

That was the question Stephen Leguillon (Seyna's CEO) took on at INNN, in a panel on “AI-driven industrialisation vs. hyper-personalisation.”

▸ What was blocking bespoke

For an insurer, every product means a pricing model, a database, integrations, technical monitoring, accounting, reinsurance.

And every month: validations, documentation, versioning, data and cash flows.

With largely manual processes, managing dozens then hundreds of heterogeneous products quickly becomes unworkable. And when monitoring breaks down, risk oversight suffers.

The result: insurers standardise. Bespoke stays the exception, reserved for a handful of large portfolios.
‍

▸ How Seyna removed that barrier

Knowing this, we built our technology from scratch to handle all these operations in one place.

The idea: let technology do the monitoring work and absorb the complexity, so our teams can say yes to bespoke.

‍

▸ What AI has changed over the past 2 years

AI doesn’t just boost the productivity of our actuaries, lawyers, developers or auditors. It does the work itself.

A concrete example: every partner sends their bordereaux in their own format.

→ AI applies or adjusts the transformation rules, checks quality and integrates the data, with no human intervention.

→ What used to take several days now takes 2 minutes.

→ Once the data is integrated, other agents analyse 20 monitoring points and flag what needs attention.

For bespoke products, this changes everything: adding one more product to monitor costs almost nothing. We can go further in personalisation, with finer products, adjusted more frequently, without losing control of the risk.

‍

▸ Tomorrow

The MGA or wholesale broker’s AI agent will talk directly to the insurer’s. Together, they will adjust products even faster.

The broker keeps the relationship and commercial personalisation. The insurer brings the capacity, the data and the risk view.

Our north star at Seyna: build the most efficient insurer for brokers.
