The partner
Wikicampers (distributor) is a French collaborative platform founded in 2012 in Bidart, which facilitates the rental and purchase of leisure vehicles between private individuals. As a trusted third party, it secures exchanges, payments and, above all, the stays of its users through appropriate insurance. With a community of over 500,000 members, Wikicampers is a key player in the democratisation of mobile travel in France.
Marsh (broker), a world leader in insurance brokerage and risk consultancy, has been supporting Wikicampers since 2021 in structuring its affinity insurance programme. Thanks to its sector expertise and ability to co-create innovative solutions, Marsh is playing a strategic role in the development of Wikicampers' insurance offering.
Our challenges

This project brings together three partners in a single approach: to offer insurance that provides security for both vehicle renters and owners.
The partners are a distributor (Wikicampers), a broker (Marsh) and an insurer (Seyna).
Together, they have taken on a number of challenges:
- Seamless integration into the customer journey: offering insurance that is fully integrated into the vehicle booking process, with a frictionless experience.
- Advanced customisation: designing a tailor-made offering capable of adapting to different profiles (renters and owners), while maintaining optimum cover.
- Reactivity and scalability: being able to quickly adjust cover and rates in line with customer feedback and market trends.
- Protection for high-value vehicles: cover for vehicles that can exceed €60,000, with minimum excesses (e.g. €400).

Our solution
Thanks to the specific expertise of the three players, the programme put in place meets the challenges of simplicity, flexibility and security:
- A co-constructed product with all-risk cover automatically included in the rental, and several levels of option for the traveller to choose from.
- Insurance designed for actual use, particularly frequent claims (damage to high-value leisure vehicles).
- A customer feedback loop integrated into product management, enabling frequent adjustments and continuous improvement.
- Rigorous monitoring and performance management carried out jointly by Marsh and Seyna.
