“AI is the operating system of the enterprise.”
At FG2A’s INSUR-IA conference, our CEO Stephen Leguillon discussed how AI is reshaping insurance jobs, alongside Valérie Mussard (Malakoff Humanis), Marie Guilbert (Lincoln) and Jean-Baptiste Adamo (Taylor Made Recrutement).
Three key takeaways:
🔹 Reinvent jobs rather than assist them.
The “AI is a copilot that augments employees” narrative is already outdated. The real breakthrough is AI agents, which carry out part of the work themselves. Jobs aren’t simply augmented, they’re redesigned.
At Seyna, for example, AI now handles the audit of our delegated partners, from collecting documents to analysing them. Our auditors are becoming consultants who support brokers.
🔹 Hire for adaptability, provide reliable tools.
The main challenge for HR isn’t teaching employees to use ChatGPT, it’s preparing them for the jobs of tomorrow. In many cases, the skills required change completely: more oversight, more expertise, more change management and more steering of AI agents.
Adaptability can’t be taught, it has to be hired. But without high-quality tools, the leap we ask of teams remains too great.
🔹 Bring an “AI Builder” in-house.
One major lesson from our experience: asking business teams to reinvent their own operations with AI doesn’t work well.
We created an AI Builder role, responsible for rebuilding processes from a blank page, based on a deep understanding of what AI agents can do. It’s a strategic skill that large companies should bring in-house.
Thank you to FG2A and Vovoxx for organising the event, and to all the speakers for such a rich discussion.
