WTW in France has designed a parametric insurance policy for French farms.

Vign'Protect has three objectives:

• Cover the costs incurred by wine growers and arboriculturists in combating frost damage to harvests;
• Cover crop loss due to frost ;
• Give as many winegrowers and arboriculturists as possible access to parametric insurance.

The temperature parameter used is obtained from weather stations located on the farm's plots.

Compensation is calculated and paid as soon as the parameter observation period ends.

Finally, the digital underwriting process, with the Seyna JUMP solution, should enable partners and prospects to underwrite their contracts independently, from the quotation to the electronic signature of the contract.
