Looking back on our participation in the Journées du Courtage 2026

On 14 and 15 September, Seyna took part in the Journées du Courtage. Two highlights: our stand, and a panel discussion on individual health insurance.

At the stand

Over two days, the Seynators talked with the brokers who came to meet us — about their products, their plans, and the way we work together as a risk carrier. These direct conversations are, every year, one of the main reasons we attend the event.

The panel: "Individual health insurance: where do we stand?"

On Tuesday 15 September, we brought together three partner brokers for a review of the individual health insurance market, moderated by journalist Alexandre Pengloan:

  • Aurélie Devillier, Managing Director of ActuData
  • Marina Vivargent, Technical and Product Director of SPVIE
  • Benjamin Renaud, Head of Sales of Sodedif
  • Jean Nicolini, Finance and Risk Director of Seyna

The discussion started from a simple observation: now that employer-sponsored health cover has become widespread, individual health insurance mainly covers specific groups — seniors, the self-employed, students and jobseekers — in a 2026 context marked by a premium freeze and cost pressure.

Three topics shaped the exchange:

  • how policyholder behaviour is changing, and the pressure on prices;
  • the growing role of non-responsible contracts, and what they change in product design and distribution;
  • and how a product is managed once launched — the ability to monitor the portfolio and adjust it over time.

Thanks to the speakers for the quality of the discussion, and to everyone who stopped by to see us.
